Okees, so this was a request from the wonderful SyncaemmaX. ;D It was a wonderful opportunity to make this video, for it gave me a challenge. What was that challenge tough, indeed? Well, first of all, I have never heard this song before so that marked one strike and second of all, I had no clue what to do. That was worth another strike. One more strike and I was out. Well, then she told me that she’d like for it to revolve around the kids and Voldemort’s return and all from it. So, that gave me a start.

Not to mention that I have been so into HP of late that I have been reading fanfictions about Harry Potter and such. And there was this one fanfic that I read and it sprouted my idea. I had copy and pasted one special part of the story into my documents so I could read that part always. It was my favorite part and I saved it so I can look upon things differently from different point of views. And when I reread it a day ago, I also happened to be listening to this song and snap! It all fit perfectly and I just had to use the idea.

The fanfic was a Harry and Draco one. They made a truce one night and became friends. Though, it only happened because the two of them were having nightmares about the past and future, Draco the past and Harry the future (I know the excerpt says that Harry dreams about killing Voldemort, but after he experiences that part, he dreams about the future. ) . They meet in the Room of Requirement unexpectedly and Draco finds himself questioning Harry about his dreams. The excerpt I saved was this one right here:

“I have nightmares about when I… killed Voldemort.”
“Why do you dream about that?!” asked Draco.
“I think I know the reason for why, and that‘s why I come here.” He said wearily.
“Go on.” Draco pushed.
“Well, if you think about it, Voldemort was only standing up for his beliefs. All that he did, was to stand up for his beliefs. And we killed him for that. I killed him for standing up for what he believed in.”
Draco shook his head. “No, you killed him for the way he went about standing up for his beliefs. The way he did stand up for them was so atrocious, that he had to be stopped. That’s what he was killed for.”
Harry sighed in frustration. “But still, that’s why I’m having nightmares. What if people don’t agree with the way I’m standing up for my beliefs? Will they kill me like I killed Voldemort?”
Draco shrugged. “That’s the risk you take. Every one takes that risk, Harry. It’s unavoidable.”
Harry paused, and then pointed something else out. “And when he killed my parents, he was only acting out of survival. I take it you know about the prophecy?” Draco nodded. “Well, he only killed them to save himself. I have a feeling that he would have gone and killed the Longbottoms as well, if he had not fallen when he struck me. That’s the thing. We were both fighting for survival.”
Draco shook his head. “You have the weirdest ideas, Harry. And yet, they make sense. I can’t argue with that last point, no one can. But what’s this got to do with nightmares?”
Harry rubbed his eyes. “Well, I think I’m having nightmares because I killed Voldemort for being human.”
“Oh.” Draco said thoughtfully. “I see. The survival thing was human instinct, and standing up for his beliefs was as well. I get it.” He shuddered. “I really feel sorry for you. Having to see that period over and over again...”

As you can see, Voldemort might not have looked human, yet he still was. He only stood up for his beliefs, might have been the wrong way to do it, yet he was only doing what HE thought was RIGHT. Don’t we all think like that? Take for example: Say, we live in a Kingdom. We are branded as the Good Kingdom… Waterloot! XD And then there is what we call the Bad Kingdom called Wartpuss. (Sorry, I’m just going along with random names popping up in my head. XD) Waterloot stands up for justice and honor, and Waterpuss stands for pride and torture. We think they are bad, they think we are bad. Who’s to know? We stand up for what we believe in and they do the same for theirs. They have no clue exactly what else is right. Whatever doesn’t follow their beliefs is what they call wrong and whatever does follow them, they call it right. Through their eyes, they think they are the good ones, but truly they aren’t really. But do they realize that? No, they don’t. Do you see my point?

That’s exactly what Voldemort’s side is. He is compared to Waterpuss and Harry is to Waterloot. Yikes, they kinda fit with the names in a very strange and queer way. XD Anyways, so please, tell me your ideas and opinions on this (not the names I came up with, mind you. XD) and I shall talk about it with you comparing and contrasting. Man, I love doing that! XD But I also got the idea from my “Only Human” video of Draco. My aimed point on that video was to show you that Draco was indeed only human and was only a death eater to protect his family and as an outcome for survival. He truly did not want to destroy Hogwarts or kill Dumbledore or anything. So as you see, his hatred towards Hogwarts in the earlier books were false and the true Draco was revealed in the 6th one. So, yes. He is only human. Hopefully, I expressed the “Human” trait in this video enough, but I think I failed. XD

Also, please don’t ask for the link to the fanfic. I lost the link and I can’t seem to locate the story. (Why does this always happen to me? That’s the third story this week! XD) But, I remember reading it on fanfiction.net, so look there for it. I can’t help you otherwise with it. But good luck searching! You’ll need it, there’s at least 15,000 stories if you search for Draco and Harry… Just look for whichever summary says something about dreams. That’s all I can say. XD
